From the entrance and all trhough the museum, the ROM, is decorated with the exhibition: MAYA, secrets of the ancient world.

This exhibition is the result of an international collaboration between the Royal Ontario Museum, the Canadian Museum of Civilization and Mexico’s National institute of anthropology and history.

MAYA, secrets of the ancient world counts with over 250 artifacts on display, that makes you feel like traveling back in the years of 250-900 AD.

As Justing Jennins, the curator of MAYA, advised: “Spend a few moments gazing into the eyes of the sun God, or imaging piercing your skin and you are one step closer to the classic Maya world, I encourage you to come and enjoy”
